The Independent Schools Mason Lipsey – Athlete Spotlight – Presented by Old Chicago

In a recent interview with VYPE, TIS athlete Mason Lipsey said “my favorite part of this team is the culture of winning that we have created in our school about winning and being a family while doing it showing it’s not just a sport it’s like a lifestyle.”

A lifestyle which Lipsey was ushered into by all his “senior teammates.” Telling VYPE “Conar Harris gave me the ability to be confident in my self. Christian Dean pushed me to be the best player I can be. Joseph was always someone I could use to help me out. Issac Combs was a reliable friend and he helped me through my sophomore year and lastly Bryce Casanova who made practice hard for me so I can be ready for games.”

This Season Lipsey hopes “to take my team to state and continue to make a culture change around my school and environment.”

Off the field, Lipsey helps “around my school as much as I can with sporting events and clean ups” and over the summer he was involved in “Kansas Hobby Leadership as a representative of TIS.”
