Q&A with The Independent Schools Ripley Cole – Athlete Spotlight – Presented by Advanced Physical Therapy

The Independent Schools Ripley Cole interviewed with VYPE to speak about who he is.

VYPE: What are your personal goals for the year?

My personal goals for this year are to score at least 4’s in all of my AP classes and Jump past 21 feet in the long jump during track season.

VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?

The most fun I’ve had in the last year has been hanging out with my friends.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade, and why?

My most favorite teacher would be Mr. Kurg, who helped cultivate my love of chemistry freshman year.

VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?

My favorite athletic memory was during a Track meet at Tabor College where I first jumped over 20 feet in long jump.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?

The teammate who has had the largest impact on me would be Grayson Jensen, whose boundless energy and enthusiasm has always inspired me to be better.

VYPE: What is your favorite part of being on this team?

My favorite part of being on the Football team is the team meal before a home game, it’s what most makes us feel like a family to me.

VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation. Where do you go, and who do you take with you?

If I were to go anywhere for summer vacation it would be to go to Switzerland with my family and my friends Lucas and Desmond.

VYPE: If we gave you $500 and you had to spend it in the next 24 hours, what would you spend it on?

If I had 500 dollars I would spend it to go out to a nice dinner with my friends.

VYPE: What Clubs or Campus groups are you involved with and why?

I am a teachers assistant for physics, I am senior class vice president for STUCO, I am on the Rainbow Six Siege esports team, I do scholars bowl, and I do the 800m and long jump for track.
